CanCode Success Stories
April 15 2019

Thanks to Henry and Peter from IBC - the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation for doing a great job covering the Pinnguaq Association in Iqaluit.  Thank you also to Ryan Oliver, Director of Pinnguaq, Gail Hodder, the Manager of Makerspace and all the young participants. Pinnguaq has established the Iqaluit Makerspace as a gathering place for people of all ages to & all backgrounds to come together to share, learn, create, play, and have fun in a safe environment. They are a hub for digital and STEAM-based education, art, critical thinking, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing firmly grounded in the values of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit and with the principles of respect, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. Affinity is honoured to be featuring success stories from organizations who have recieved CanCode program funding from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
